I’m so mind blown that it’s only been almost 5 months, they only gave her a slight issue but since we’ve downsized weeks ago, we finally got to decorate them with this 25mm titanium curb chain.
Nose chains must be accurately measured in person and worn only when they’ve been healed well enough to present no issues/bumps/swelling/redness!

I’ll be honest, I’m very picky on who and where I will set a dermal into. I refuse to place them on the lower back/hips/hands/ and I barely enjoy placing in the chest. I have to make sure you are 10000000% committed to following proper aftercare instructions and actively listening to how I cannot stress enough how YOU NEED to be consciously aware of them, initially AND even when they’ve been set in for months. Just like any other piercing you can irritate it if you forget about it and aren’t cleaning it. We all know what dead skin cells smell like, do not treat your dermal like you don’t need to clean it. 😭 stop breaking my heart
Some of my favorite pierced eyebrows I should’ve posted sooner but if I did that… I wouldn’t have this opportunity to dump it all on you at once.
1: I pierced their eyebrow + vampire bites/angel fangs/upper vertical labrets. I also bonded on those rad tooth gems 🤪
2: I pierced the septum, nostril, and eyebrow
3: I also pierced their septum & eyebrow
4: Paired central eyebrow piercings 😍 (I can’t remember if I pierced their vertical labret)
5: They let me anodize it to gold, and we’ve also done a few other piercings together I’m just brain farting on which ones 🥹
10: I did pierce both of their eyebrows, at separate times, as you can see the pictured left is freshhhh. I also set that microdermal in. 😍

I think it’s time I reintroduce myself because you all seem to just call me, “the piercer girl” but I do, in fact, actually have a name, booooooo, yeah I know!
As it is in my Instagram handle, my name is Serena, I’m 29 years old, my birthday is the Fourth of July 🦅🇺🇸 I began my body piercing career in 2019, I started based in Sacramento, and have been the sole body piercer at @lighthousetattooclub since 2021. 😄 I know my hair has gone through several changes but it’s still me. Most people get confused by my listing of pronouns on my bio, it basically means you can call me girl, dude, man, boy, sis, bro/bruv, I simply don’t care whether you think I’m a girl or a guy, just don’t you ever dare call me outside of my name. I’m a big time animal lover, also fond of the critters, and the creepy crawlies. I think opossums and tarantulas are very very very cute, I LOVE funky socks, and live music to be extra silly with my “dancing.”
I always find it so surreal that I get to help decorate people of all ages; it’s wild that I get to be the one to remind you that I’m here for you, that we will get through this together, from initial piercing to a healed canal, and to remember to breathe! 🥰

I’m super late about sharing my first ever APP, @safepiercing conference, so here I go!
I was chosen as one of twenty(?) piercers/enthusiasts/apprentices to be able to attend this year’s conference through the Alicia Cardenas Keep Moving Forward scholarship, and I can’t even begin to express how much gratitude paired with absolute luck that I feel to be awarded this incredible opportunity. 😭
I was SO incredibly nervous and it subsided rather quickly once I realized everyone there was so absolutely welcoming and kind! People who have hundreds and thousands of followers didn’t make me feel small or like an imposter; it was the exact opposite of elitism that I was engrained with like when I first started my journey.
Being able to pick the brains of professionals who have been in the industry for over 10-25 years was wildly inspiring, even those starting their apprenticeships or are within their first few years -/ well. This conference made me fall back in love with body piercing, self expression, and all the beautiful jewelry that’s crafted with the most bad ass intent.
I just wanna thank everyone at the APP for striving to keep body piercings safe, healthy, and expressive. Seriously, thank you for keeping us educated, reminding us the importance of safety, and allowing us all to be able to feel like a real community. I can’t wait to go back again!! 🥰

With every single piercing and especially intraoral piercings it’s SO SO SO important to get pierced with long enough labrets to allow for swelling. Once your initial swelling goes away it’s just as, if not MORE important to come back and DOWNSIZE YOUR LABRETS to prevent: possible gum erosion, chipped/broken teeth, irritation bumps from excessive jewelry length!!!!
